Birch bark signs workhsop with Mary Vianese
Birch bark frames and mirrors-Students will work with local crafter,Mary Vianese, to create either a frame or a mirror using bark, twigs, pinecones, and moss.
Cost- $35.00 Materials fee- $15.00
Birch bark birdhouses- Participants will work with
Mary Vianese to embellish a pre-constructed form using birch bark, twigs, moss, pinecones and other natural materials.Cost-$35.00 Materials fee- $8.00
Wooden canoe or kayak paddle-Using hand tools, Caleb Davis, will assist students in the making of a paddle from cherry blanks wooden Cost$100.00(canoe) $110.00 (kayak) (includes all materials).
Reiki level 1 and 2 training class-Master teacher, Dina Kennedy will teach the ancient form of hands on healing that helps reduce stress and pain. Cost- $55.00
Introduction to pastels-Joann Quinlivan will lead you through the basics of working with pastels. Cost-$35.00
Materials fee- $5.00
Drawing on the right side of the brain- Jane Zilka will teach you how to access the creative side of your brain. Feel the shift! Cost-$35.00
Flower pressing/pounding-Mary Vianese will teach you how to press flowers and apply them to different surfaces. Cost-$35.00 Materials fee-$25.00
Adirondack footstool-Kathleen Larkin will apply chair weaving techniques to a footstool frame made from white birch. Cost-$35.00 Materials fee- $15.00
Adirondack pack basket-Saranac Lake weaver, Sandy Mueller, will help students create a full size pack basket. Cost- $75.00 Harness-$18.00 extra
Watercolor painting -This workshop, taught by Sarah Yeoman, is geared towards mid-level and experienced painters who want to experiment with more advanced techniques. Cost-$40.00
Willow furniture making- After choosing from 12 different designs, furniture maker, Bim Willow, will help students turn fresh willow into heirlooms. Cost-Each piece priced separately. CALL FOR DETAILS!
Carolina snowflake ornaments- Deb Smith will teach how to make three woven rustic decorations from 1/4" reed. Cost-$35.00 Materials fee-$5.00
Acrylic painting- Taught by Sarah Yeoman, this class will explore transparent acrylics in traditional and non-traditional ways. Choice of canvas or paper.
Cost-$40.00 FREE paint provided by Chroma Atelier Interactive Acrylics.
Quilted Adirondack placemats- With 20 years of experience in quilting, Nancy Landmesser will guide you through the making 4 rustic themed placemats.

Beaded jewelry-Linda Doyle will teach the basics of designing, stringing, and finishing a necklace and earrings from stone, glass, and metal beads.
